What to Expect After Arm Lift Surgery

Arm Lift Before and After PhotosThe hardest part of preparing for surgery is not knowing what it will be like. If you’re about to undergo brachioplasty, you may be feeling particularly anxious about the aftermath of your procedure. The following information will help you feel more at ease so that you know what to expect after arm lift surgery.

After your surgery, you will be discharged home that same day. Take this opportunity to rest, as your body will be tired from surgery. You should anticipate the possibility of discomfort, bruising, swelling, and redness in your arms, all of which are temporary. By three or four days after your surgery, you may be ready to return to work. Even though you may return to work, your activities should still be limited, with minimal use of your arms for the first one to two weeks as well as limited exercise for up to six weeks. Your surgeon will provide you with detailed instructions to follow during your recovery so that you can have the best recovery experience and minimize your risk of infection or complications.

During recovery, you should follow all postoperative instructions. Take your medications as prescribed to reduce the risk of infection. The first week of recovery, you will have only limited use of your arms. Be careful not to use excess motion, abrasion, or force on your incisions. Wear comfortable, loose tops that open in the front for the first two weeks so that you will not have to lift your arms above your head. You should wear a compression garment for three to six weeks after recovery to help your arms heal and produce more ideal results. Finally, by six weeks after your procedure, you should be able to resume normal activities with your doctor’s approval.

Discomfort is common early after brachioplasty. You will likely have bruising, swelling, redness, and mild to moderate discomfort during the first week or two of recovery. Oral pain medications can reduce any pain during this time. Following all postoperative activity instructions, including when and how to wear your compression garment and how to treat your incisions, will help minimize your discomfort.

Scarring is common after any surgery. You will likely have permanent scarring where the incisions are placed. These incisions are discreetly placed on the inside of the arms so that they will not be noticeable during most activities. Some patients need longer incisions than others, and these patients are likely to have increased scarring. Your surgeon will take great care when suturing the incisions to achieve the best scar possible. Most patients feel that any degree of scarring is preferable to sagging upper arm skin. By treating your incisions carefully and taking advantage of tools such as embrace® Active Scar Defense, you may be able to minimize your scars. Limit sun exposure to the area so that the scar tissue will not darken unfavorably. As with all scars, any visible scarring will likely fade over time.

While you will see some initial results shortly after your surgery, they will be temporarily obstructed by swelling. Usually by around six weeks after surgery, most of your major swelling will have subsided and you will be able to see your results. The removal of tissue through brachioplasty is permanent, meaning you can enjoy your new upper arm contours for many years as long as you maintain a stable body weight and live a healthy lifestyle. Exercise will keep your muscle tone strong so that your arms remain well-defined, and it will also help prevent future weight gain. With your newly improved upper arm contours, you may feel more self-confident and have a more positive self-image. You will likely feel as though you can finally wear certain clothing items (e.g., swimsuits, sleeveless tops, and fitted sleeves) that you previously avoided. Arm lift surgery improves the contour of the upper arms and can boost your image in the eyes of others and yourself.
Dr. Matthew Conrad is a board-certified plastic surgeon who can perform arm lift surgery to improve the definition, tone, and contours of your upper arm. Before and After OtoplastyDid you know that well over one million American men underwent surgical or non-surgical cosmetic procedures in the last year alone*? Plastic surgery can enhance your appearance and give you a competitive edge in your social and work life. Here are eight reasons to improve your appearance with male plastic surgery procedures.

1. Reduce Facial Aging

Is your forehead lined with heavy wrinkles? Do you have deep hollows beneath your eyes? Do people around you frequently comment that you look tired, angry, or sad? Wrinkles and hollows are signs of aging skin and can be corrected with non-surgical treatments. Dermal fillers and BOTOX® Cosmetic can reduce facial wrinkles and lines so that your face looks smooth, young, relaxed, and refreshed.

2. Improve Sagging Eyelids and Bags Under the Eyes

Excess lines or skin above the eyes is caused by sagging upper eyelid skin. Bags under the eyes are caused by displaced fat. Both issues detract from your appearance and can make you look significantly older than you feel. You can recapture your youthful appearance from the glory days with eyelid surgery to tighten the tissues of your eyelids and smooth away wrinkles and bags.

3. Eliminate Jowls, Wrinkles, and Sagging in the Lower Face and Neck

Men and women both suffer the effects of aging. Over time, gravity can take a toll and leave you with heavy jowls, folds, sagging, a double chin, and visible muscle bands. A facelift with a neck lift can eliminate these issues to improve definition in your jawline, neck, and face. After this surgery, you could look as much as five to 10 years younger.

4. Get Rid of Stubborn Fat

A lot of men are dismayed when they discover that their high school days of gorging on pizza and junk food without gaining weight are gone. Over time, the metabolism slows down and the body tends to pack on the pounds. With procedures like tummy tuck surgery, liposuction, and CoolSculpting®, men can get rid of stubborn fat. These procedures target fat deposits to restore a leaner and more toned figure.

5. Flatten a Beer Belly

The abdomen is one of the main fat deposits in the body. If yours has developed a bit of a paunch, or even if it has turned into a full-blown beer belly, tummy tuck surgery may be able to help you. This surgery can eliminate stubborn belly fat and tighten your core muscles and sagging skin to give you a flatter, more masculine abdomen.

6. Masculinize Your Chest

Some men have overdeveloped breast tissue or excess fat in the chest that gives them the appearance of male breasts. This disconcerting condition is known as gynecomastia and can cause embarrassment and discomfort. Male breast reduction is an excellent procedure that can remove the excess breast tissue and fat to permanently improve your chest contours.

7. Tighten Sagging Skin

Aging and gravity both take a toll on the skin, causing it to sag almost anywhere on the body. Whether you have sagging skin on your belly, arms, thighs, or elsewhere, there’s a procedure for you. Some of the most popular surgeries that tighten sagging skin are tummy tuck surgery and arm lift surgery.

8. Enhance Facial Features

For some men, it’s not a battle against aging but rather a battle against genetics. For instance, if you have a naturally weak, recessed chin, you may have a harder time presenting yourself with masculine confidence. A chin implant can add definition to your jawline to improve your facial structure and portray a more confident look. Likewise, rhinoplasty (one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures among men) can redefine your nose for better facial balance and attractiveness. Finally, otoplasty can make large ears smaller or make ears that stick out lie flatter against the head. These procedures can enhance your facial features to improve your appearance.

Men have as much to gain from plastic surgery as women. If you would like to learn more about procedures that could improve your appearance, request your consultation with Dr. Matthew Conrad. Call (316) 681-2227 or contact us online to get in touch with us today.

Once you’ve decided you want breast implants, there are a lot of additional choices you must make. These “7 S’s of Breast Augmentation” will help you keep track of the most important points when you are preparing for your breast augmentation.

Beast Augmentation Before and After Photos

1. Silicone vs. Saline

All breast implants have a silicone shell, but the substance inside the shell is either saline or silicone. Silicone implants are best for women who are more concerned about a natural look and feel, implant longevity, and minimizing the chances of rupture or rippling. Dr. Conrad is pleased to offer Sientra® High-Strength Cohesive Silicone Gel breast implants, which have even greater durability and reduced chance of rippling than traditional silicone implants.

2. Size

“One size fits all” is certainly untrue with breast implants. Implant size is measured in volume (cubic centimeters). When choosing your size, be sure to consider both your preferences and your anatomy. If you want a subtle or natural enhancement, choose smaller implants. If you want a bold change, choose larger implants. If you have naturally small breasts, smaller or moderately sized implants may produce the best aesthetic results. Dr. Conrad will help you determine which implant size best meets your anatomic needs and personal preferences.

3. Shape and Profile

Implants can be anatomically shaped (fuller at the bottom) or round (uniform fullness). However, the shape you choose may not actually matter in terms of the results, as recent research has suggested that not even surgeons can tell breast implant shape apart after surgery. What may be more important is the profile of your implants. High profile implants have a narrow base with significant forward projection, while low profile implants have a wide base and little forward projection. Your anatomy should be the biggest factor here, as the wrong profile selection could look very unnatural. For instance, if your chest wall is wide and your breasts are spaced far apart, high profile implants could make it look like your breasts are stuck or glued onto your chest. Conversely, if you have a narrow chest wall, low profile implants could have lateral overflow.

4. Surface Texture

Breast implants can have either a smooth or irregular texture. The key argument in favor of textured implants is that they may have a reduced rate of capsular contracture because they bind to the breast tissue and are less likely to shift or rotate. Arguments in favor of smooth implants are that they are more affordable and have a lower risk of rippling.

5. Surgical Incision

Your surgical incision with Dr. Conrad could be either the inframammary incision or the periareolar incision. The inframammary incision is below the breasts along the crease. Even though it can leave noticeable scarring, this incision is the most popular choice because it has the least amount of risk and does not limit implant selection. The periareolar incision goes around the outside of the areola, usually just around the lower edge, and it leaves a smaller scar that blends with the edge of the areola. This incision type carries a slightly higher risk and may limit implant selection for women with smaller areolas.

6. Submuscular vs. Subglandular Placement

Some surgeons offer either submuscular or subglandular implant placement. With subglandular placement, the implant is inserted below the breast tissue but above the pectoral muscle. This technique leads to an easier recovery, but it offers less tissue support and carries greater overall risk. Dr. Conrad performs only submuscular implant placement, in which the implants are placed beneath the pectoral muscles, because it has less risk, produces better support, and yields the best results.

7. Surgeon

When selecting your surgeon, choose one that is certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. You should also choose a surgeon with extensive experience who can show you plenty of before and after pictures of his patients. It is important that you and your surgeon have a good rapport so you know that your surgeon understands your desires. Be sure to ask plenty of questions and meet with multiple surgeons before making your final decision. Dr. Conrad is a board-certified, talented, and experienced breast surgeon who would be more than happy to help you reach your beauty ideals.

Pregnancy and nursing may affect the breasts in ways that are far from pleasing. While these changes are almost exclusively cosmetic and do not threaten the mother’s health, they can permanently and negatively alter the appearance and feel of the breasts. Breast augmentation, sometimes combined with breast lift surgery, can help mothers restore youthfully firm, full, shapely, and perky breasts.

Breast Augmentation with Lift Before and After Photos

Breast Changes During Pregnancy and Nursing

Hormonal shifts during pregnancy and nursing can cause the following cosmetic breast changes:

  • Temporary growth and swelling that leads to subsequent deflation
  • Enlarged and darkened areolas and nipples
  • Stretched skin that leads to subsequent sagging
  • Shifting breast tissue and breast fat that alters breast shape

These changes may be caused by both pregnancy and nursing. For instance, the breasts typically grow and swell during pregnancy even if the mother does not intend to breastfeed her child. For nursing mothers, lactation creates denser breast tissue. Once a mother has weaned her child, the fatty tissue and breast tissue may shift to change the shape, contour, and feel of the breasts. A woman who suffers from breast engorgement while nursing may observe more changes to the shape of her breasts. Sometimes, the result is noticeable breast asymmetry, especially for women with natural breast asymmetry that went unnoticed beforehand. Furthermore, while some women’s breasts may return to their pre-pregnancy size or shape, other women’s breasts may not. It is not uncommon for women to have one breast shrink more than the other, causing even a full cup size difference between the breasts.

How Breast Augmentation Can Help

Even though nothing can compare to the experience of being a mother, the sagging, deflation, and other changes to the appearance and feel of the breasts are unfortunate side effects associated with pregnancy and breastfeeding. If your breasts have become flabby, shapeless, asymmetrical, deflated, or saggy due to pregnancy and nursing, breast augmentation can help restore their appearance, shape, and feel. With breast implants, your breasts can once again feel firm and look full, shapely, and round. Many mothers benefit from undergoing breast augmentation with a simultaneous breast lift to improve the look, feel, and lift of the breasts.

Breast surgeries like breast augmentation and breast lift surgery can help mothers achieve more youthful and attractive breasts. To learn more about how you could benefit from breast implants, schedule your personal consultation with Dr. Conrad by calling 316-681-2227 or by filling out our online contact form today.

Plastic surgery can enhance your body shape using multiple surgical approaches depending on your aesthetic goals and anatomic realities. Tummy tuck surgery and liposuction are both body contouring surgeries that can dramatically improve body shape in different ways. Choosing between them means selecting the one that is better for your individual needs.

Tummy Tuck Before and After Photos

Tummy Tuck

Tummy tuck surgery can help you achieve a flat, firm abdomen. To accomplish this, this procedure targets three common issues: lax stomach muscles, excess and sagging skin, and localized abdominal fat. These issues are isolated to the abdominal area, which is why the procedure earned the nickname “tummy tuck” surgery. Candidates for a tummy tuck typically struggle with all of these issues and desire to improve the definition and contour of this specific area of their body. Candidates should also be at or near their goal weight before undergoing tummy tuck surgery.

Liposuction can help you achieve a more desirable body shape in general. The procedure can selectively target and destroy pockets of stubborn fat on the abdomen, hips, thighs, arms, back, neck, and virtually anywhere else on the body. Candidates for liposuction have good skin quality and muscle tone, but they are bothered by stubborn fat accumulation in select areas. Candidates should also be at or near their goal weight before undergoing liposuction.

Major Differences

  • Area of Treatment: While tummy tuck surgery focuses solely on the abdomen, liposuction can be performed anywhere on the body.
  • Skin: Tummy tuck surgery can tighten loose, sagging skin in the abdomen. Liposuction treats only fat and requires the skin to be healthy and taut for optimal results.
  • Muscle Tone: Liposuction only provides fat removal, whereas tummy tuck surgery can also tighten the core muscles of the abdomen to create better definition and firmness.
  • Scarring: Liposuction leaves minimal to no scarring while tummy tuck surgery may leave noticeable scars in the lower abdomen.
  • Invasiveness: While both procedures are surgical, tummy tuck surgery is more invasive and therefore has a greater level of surgical risk, more side effects, and a longer recovery.
  • Cost: The cost of tummy tuck surgery is higher than the cost of liposuction, mostly because the procedure is more complex on the part of the surgeon.

Patients can experience dramatic body contour enhancement by undergoing liposuction and/or tummy tuck surgery. These procedures are both designed to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals by improving their body shape. Many patients can undergo both procedures for even greater body contouring results.

Whether you need liposuction for fat removal or tummy tuck surgery for fat removal combined with skin and muscle tightening, these body contouring procedures can be greatly beneficial. During your personal consultation, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Matthew Conrad can identify which of these procedures is best for your needs. lady-getting-botox-cosmeticDid you know there’s proof that beauty treatments can help you feel happier? Many people feel better when they know that they look their best, but beyond anecdotal evidence, scientific research has demonstrated that treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic (a neuromodulator) can reduce depression. Neuromodulators and soft tissue fillers are non-surgical facial injectable treatments that can help you look more youthful, attractive, and happy.

BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport®

BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® are neuromodulators that can minimize wrinkles. These prescription medicines can be injected into certain areas of the face to treat:

  • Frown lines between the eyebrows
  • Crow’s feet at the outer edges of the eyes
  • Horizontal wrinkles on the forehead
  • Chin wrinkles
  • Wrinkles at the sides of the nose

BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® work by weakening the facial muscles that create expression lines. This helps your face to relax into a more relaxed, affable, and approachable expression. You will still be able to make sad or angry expressions, but after treatment with BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport®, it’s easier to put on a bright and welcoming smile.

Soft Tissue Fillers

Soft tissue fillers can also minimize facial wrinkles and improve facial fullness. Fillers such as Restylane-L®, Restylane® Lyft, JUVÉDERM® XC, RADIESSE®, and Sculptra® Aesthetic are all offered here at our facility. The injection of soft tissue fillers can fill in volume loss and eliminate wrinkles so that your face appears softer, younger, and more attractive. Fillers can also enhance the size of the lips so that your smile is more inviting.

Non-Surgical Treatments

These neuromodulators and soft tissue fillers are non-surgical treatments that can reduce the signs of aging. After a single treatment session and no downtime, immediately visible results will reveal a more comfortable and rejuvenated appearance. With regular treatments, you can maintain a more pleasant and appealing look with fewer wrinkles, younger-looking skin, and a beautifully confident smile.

Dr. Matthew Conrad offers surgical and non-surgical plastic surgery treatments at his practice for patients all over Wichita and Kansas. His staff of skilled, artistic, and compassionate nurses has been administering non-surgical facial injectable treatments to patients for over 14 years with excellent results. To schedule your personal consultation, call 316-681-2227 or complete our online contact form today.

forehead-wrinklesA common sign of facial aging is the development of fine lines and sagging skin around the eyes. In particular, the area between the brows may form vertical furrows that seem permanently etched in the skin. If you have observed these aging signs on your face, a brow lift or BOTOX® Cosmetic could help you achieve a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance.

Who Needs BOTOX® Cosmetic?

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a facial injectable that is injected into the face to minimize wrinkles. The substance contained in BOTOX® Cosmetic is made from botulinum toxin type A, which blocks the facial muscles from contracting so that expression lines will smooth themselves out. BOTOX® Cosmetic can treat crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, and frown lines, but it cannot treat sagging skin. Patients who have moderate to severe wrinkles in these areas may be excellent candidates for BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments. Candidates may also be young, even in their twenties, and seeking to minimize wrinkles early on before they become more prominent. This anti-aging treatment can reduce facial wrinkles and give patients a more youthful appearance without any surgery. BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments should be repeated every four to six months to maintain the results.

Who Needs a Brow Lift?

Brow lift surgery, also known as forehead surgery or a forehead lift, is a procedure that surgically raises the eyebrows to correct brow sagging and eliminate wrinkles. Surgical repositioning of the brows reduces prominent forehead wrinkles and creates a more relaxed and refreshed brow line. Most candidates for this procedure are over age 40 and have severe forehead wrinkles, frown lines, sagging forehead skin, and sagging brows as well as a perpetually sad, tired, or angry expression. For a rare subset of patients, a brow lift is medically necessary because sagging brows are interfering with their ability to see. This surgical procedure can reduce facial wrinkles and give you a more youthful, relaxed, and approachable appearance with long-lasting results.

Choosing Between These Procedures

While these treatments correct some of the same signs of aging, they are not interchangeable and are often complementary. For instance, patients who need correction for sagging brows will need a brow lift, not BOTOX® Cosmetic, whereas patients who have moderate or minimal forehead and brow wrinkles should consider BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments. Dr. Conrad and his experienced and highly trained staff can help you determine which procedure is best for your needs.

Schedule your personal consultation with board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon Matthew Conrad, MD, to learn more about these procedures and determine which treatment is right for you. To book your appointment, call 316-681-2227 or contact us online today.

breast-cancer-awarenessOctober is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. While one in eight women will develop invasive breast cancer during her lifetime, many women do not know how to recognize the warning signs of breast cancer. To promote awareness of this life-changing illness, here are some of the early warning signs of breast cancer.

Breast Lump or Mass

Breast cancer may be revealed by discovering a new breast lump or mass. While some lumps and masses can be benign, others may be malignant and should be checked by your healthcare provider. A breast mass that is hard and painless with irregular edges is more likely to be cancerous, though cancerous lumps can also be soft, tender, and round.

Breast Swelling

Some swelling of the breasts may occur naturally with your menstrual cycle. However, unusual swelling of part or all of one breast may be a symptom of breast cancer. Even if there is no distinct lump in association with the swelling, it should still be evaluated by your doctor.

Nipple Discharge

Nipple discharge beyond normal lactation should not occur unless there is a physical problem. Should you experience this, it may be a sign of breast cancer and should be evaluated by your health care professional.

Nipple and Areola Changes

Breast cancer can also cause nipple and areola changes. For example, the nipples may retract (turn inward), or the nipple and areola skin may become red, scaly, and thick.

Skin Irritation, Dimpling, or Other Skin Changes

Another early warning sign of breast cancer is unusual changes to the skin of the breast and/or areola. Irritation, itching, dimpling, redness, scaliness, and skin thickening are examples of possible cancer symptoms.

Breast Pain

Some women experience breast tenderness during their menstrual cycle. However, pain beyond this that occurs in the breast or nipple may be an early indicator of breast cancer. Report any unusual aches, pains, fluctuating discomfort, persistent pain, or even occasional throbbing to your doctor.

Angiogenesis is when the body builds new blood vessels. If angiogenesis occurs in the breasts, it could be a sign that the body is trying to build a new blood supply for developing breast tumors. Angiogenesis must be identified with thermography testing.

Patterns of Changes

Above all, anything outside the norm that occurs in your breasts may be an early warning sign of breast cancer. Be informed and stay on the lookout for patterns of changes.

Breast Reconstruction After Breast Cancer

While many of these indicators could be early warning signs of cancer, they do not automatically point to cancer. All women who observe these signs should speak to their doctors and undergo evaluations and tests to receive a proper diagnosis. If you have breast cancer and your doctor has determined that your treatment plan should include a mastectomy or double mastectomy to remove your cancerous breast tissue, take comfort in knowing that the results of such surgeries do not have to be permanent. Breast reconstruction can restore the breasts and provide emotional closure and healing for breast cancer patients.

Breast reconstruction is a surgical procedure that can help women find emotional closure after undergoing a mastectomy or double mastectomy for their breast cancer treatment. To learn more, schedule your personal consultation with board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Matthew Conrad. To book your appointment, call 316-681-2227 or fill out our online contact form today.

Female with gauged earring in her left ear/ Stretched earlobeEarlobe gauging has existed in various cultures around the world for thousands of years. Beginning with a simple piercing in the ear, different sized gauge plugs are then placed in the earlobes to stretch them over extended periods of time. This excessive stretching distorts the tissue of the earlobes, eventually leaving them with a hole that is stretched out permanently.

In the last few years, ear gauging has also become popular among men and women in the United States. However, like many trends, most people tend to grow out of this fad as they get older. As people who once had gauges in their ears wish to restore a normal look to their earlobes, Dr. Matthew Conrad regularly performs earlobe repair surgery to correct the appearance of stretched and torn earlobes.

Repairing Gauged Earlobes

Although repairing gauged earlobes is a specialized process, it can typically be done in less than an hour. The procedure itself is performed on an outpatient basis with local anesthesia. After an incision is made that extends from the bottom of the stretched hole to the outer edge, surface tissue inside of the gauged earlobe is removed. To close the hole, the earlobe tissue is moved forward and closed with sutures.

Recovery and Results

Patients can return to work immediately following surgery as there is no downtime associated with earlobe repair. There is little to no pain during your recovery and any sensitivity you may feel can be alleviated with an over-the-counter medication. You will be prescribed an antibiotic to protect you from infection, and sutures will be removed after five to seven days. No earrings should be worn for six weeks following your surgery. The incisions will fade as they heal, and the remaining scars will be very inconspicuous. This procedure produces a great improvement to the appearance of the ears and patients are usually very happy with their results.

If your earlobes have become permanently stretched out and you want to restore a natural appearance to them, feel free to contact our Wichita practice today. Call (316) 681-2227 or conveniently fill out our online contact form to schedule a consultation. Dr. Matthew Conrad is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is extensively experienced in earlobe surgery. With the help of his friendly staff, Dr. Conrad will make you feel comfortable throughout your entire visit while providing you with satisfying results.

woman behind clockIn a society where time is of the essence, consideration for having cosmetic surgery does not have to be dismissed. Many patients strive for facial rejuvenation but may not have the time off that surgical procedures demand for recovery. Fortunately, Dr. Matthew Conrad offers injectables that can have you looking great in less than an hour and get you back to your daily routine immediately afterwards. These “lunch hour” procedures will deliver great results and have you prepared for that big event with a more youthful appearance.

Rather than sitting down at a restaurant on your lunch hour, optimize your time by visiting Dr. Conrad’s office. Grab a bite on the go and freshen up that facial expression at the same time. BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers will help to obtain that vivacious look without the downtime required for healing. They are non-invasive anti-aging procedures that fill in wrinkles and add volume the face.

Another quick procedure to consider is Dysport®, which is similar to BOTOX®. Both successfully reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles with results lasting 3 to 10 months. In addition, fillers such as and Restylane-L®, Perlane-L®, JUVÉDERM® XC, PREVELLE™ Silk Dermal Filler, and RADIESSE® can also reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles, folds, and scars. These procedures typically take less than an hour, and patients are able to return to work and their normal activities the very same day. The results are immediate and last from between 6 to 12 months. Not only do these procedures provide quick results, but they are also a great alternative for those who are a little apprehensive about committing to surgery.

Although injectables are great options for those on the go, the results are only temporary. In addition, “lunch hour” procedures cannot improve sagging facial tissue or provide permanent results. To effectively treat these issues, a facelift or other facial surgical procedure will give greater and longer lasting results. A consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine which options will best achieve the results you desire.

If you are seeking to improve your facial appearance, feel free to contact Dr. Matthew Conrad to schedule a consultation today. Dr. Matthew Conrad is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and offers both non-invasive and surgical procedures to meet your individual needs. To schedule your consultation, please call (316) 681-2227 or fill out our online contact form. We look forward to helping you put your best face forward in 2014!
