Soft tissue fillers
Restylane-L, Perlane-L, Juvederm XC, Prevelle are all soft tissue fillers that have recently been made available with Lidocaine so the injection is much more comfortable. All of these soft tissue fillers can be used to safely enhance the size and shape of the lips for a youthful, attractive contour.
Restylane-L, Perlane-L, Juvederm XC, Prevelle and Radiesse can be used to increase volume and fullness in the skin, reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles, folds and scars. These popular treatments are typically performed in less than an hour, most patients return to work and normal activities the very same day. The results of soft tissue fillers are immediate and can last from six to twelve months before follow up treatments are required to maintain improvement.
Dr. Conrad also offers Sculptra. Sculptra injections are very effective correction of facial fat loss. Sculptra stimulates the reproduction of your body’s natural collagen to give your face the fullness it has lost with aging or weight loss. It normally takes two-three injections and four to six weeks to see results from Sculptra injections but the results generally last two years.
Preparation for injections:
It is recommended by Dr. Conrad to stop taking any medications that may cause blood thinner/bruising one week prior to your injection for best results. These medications include but are not limited to aspirin, ibuprofen, St. Johns Wort, and Vitamin E. Alcohol may also cause blood thinning and limited intake is recommended.
