"As I looked across the office room at my young and beautiful mother, a realization of horror came over me. I stood up and grabbed her 'my God, you have cancer and they want to take your breast.' She looked at me in shock as if in defeat and said 'yes'. With that we were sent to a plastic surgeon in town.

On the first day we met Dr. Matthew Conrad and his staff I knew everything was going to be fine. Dr. Conrad took time to explain options and procedures for making a new breast, as well as further options to come. He answered every question she had as well as my questions. It felt as if my mother was his only patient. Before and after surgery he visited her as well as listened to her, every one of her concerns was addressed.
