Candidates
Ideal candidates for EMSCULPT® are healthy individuals that cannot achieve the muscle definition they are striving for. These individuals have loose stomach or buttock muscles that can benefit from additional toning but are still near to their ideal weight. Those who are considering EMSCULPT® must have realistic expectations of their results and understand that this is not intended for weight loss.
EMSCULPT® Treatment
During treatment, the EMSCULPT® device is placed directly onto the abdomen, buttocks, or thighs. The device administers non-invasive HIFEM®, or High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology, to stimulate intense supramaximal muscle contractions. These contractions are much more powerful than the muscle contractions experienced during a typical workout, causing the muscles to adapt and remodel their inner structure. This deep-tissue remodeling stimulates the metabolism, destroys fat cells, and develops tighter muscles.
EMSCULPT® treatments are performed in-office in under 30 minutes. Most patients require a series of four sessions that are spaced two to three days apart to achieve desired results.
Recovery
As EMSCULPT® is non-invasive, there is no associated recovery period.
